Vestergaard Facility Tour

Dec. 10, 2021

Brock Crocker, business manager – North America at Vestergaard Company, recently offered Ground Support Worldwide a behind the scenes look at the company’s recently opened facility in McHenry, Ill.

Vestergaard moved into the new location in July 2020, occupying a former Harley-Davidson showroom. After completing some minor modifications to the building, the company is able to utilize more than 50,000 square feet of space to assemble deicers and lavatory service trucks, provide service for Vestergaard vehicles and Kalmar Motor pushbacks tractors and stock parts for next-day delivery across the United States.

“We are happy and proud of the good reception of our products from our American customers - including several new customers in recent years. Our new facilities in McHenry, Ill., will give us extra good conditions to both service our customers and make it possible to do local assembly,” said Stefan Vestergaard, CEO of Vestergaard Company. “With our role as a service partner for Kalmar Motor in North America, it makes extra good sense to have the updated new facilities completely in place now before the market again, hopefully soon, really takes off.”
