Southeast Aerospace has received Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) approval for the amendment to FAA Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) number ST04570CH. The amendment provides Honeywell SPZ 8000 Equipped Hawker 800 series aircraft the opportunity for cockpit modernization.
The STC provides a modernization option for Hawker 800A, 800B, and 800XP aircraft with existing Collins APS-80 or Honeywell SPZ 8000 autopilots by upgrading to the Universal InSight Integrated Flight Deck. The InSight Flight Deck revolutionizes avionics with its comprehensive system, incorporating an advanced synthetic vision system, detailed electronic charts, and integrated radio control capabilities. This streamlined approach reduces the number of external Line Replaceable Units (LRUs) traditionally required, cutting down on avionics weight and complex wiring.
