The Mohave County Airport Authority Announces New Assistant Airport Director

The Mohave County Airport Authority has named Kellen Shireman, C.M. as the new assistant airport director for Laughlin/Bullhead International Airport (IFP). In this role, Shireman will assist the airport director in oversight and management of all airport activity at IFP, a Part 139, non-hub primary commercial service airport. He will begin his new position on Feb 28.

Shireman has a strong airport operations background, most recently serving as the airport operations supervisor II for Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD). He worked for ORD since 2012 and also served as airport operations supervisor I. In addition, he worked for San José International Airport and South Bend Regional Airport.  

 “I am incredibly excited the join the team at IFP,” said Shireman. “I can't wait to dive into the current and future projects at the airport, build relationships with the IFP team members and the Laughlin/Bullhead community.”

Shireman holds a bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management from Purdue University. He is also a Certified Member (C.M.) of the American Association of Airport Executives.
