Aircraft Specialists (ASI) announces the opening of its elegant new FBO and hangar complex at Clark Regional Airport (JVY).
The 22,600 square-foot facility features a spacious lobby with a modern aesthetic. The space allows for a clear view of the airport as two walls of windows afford ample natural light. Guests also benefit from a functional kitchen, complimentary snacks and beverages, a well-appointed conference room, and a comfortable pilot’s lounge, complete with a full bath. In addition, the complex features a new 18,200 square-foot hangar with 28 foot doors, able to accommodate aircraft up to a G-550.
The new facility offers easy access to and from the ramp, in addition to curbside pickup and drop off for customers in the main parking lot. This efficiency, in addition to the FBO’s location just 10 minutes north of Louisville, Kentucky, makes ASI the most convenient fly-in option in the greater Louisville region and the FBO of choice for the Kentucky Derby.
This year’s derby has been rescheduled for Saturday, September 5. The ASI team looks forward to welcoming customers flying in for the event to its enhanced facility.
“ASI’s mission is to provide the ‘Ultimate Client Experience’ by committing to being the best,” said the FBO’s owner, Todd Strause. “Our new facility follows this commitment to excellence and we feel our clients will see a difference compared to other FBOs.”
As a full-service FBO, ASI offers customers 24/7/365 service off a 7,000-foot runway, including: expert ground handling services, quick turns, hangar and tie-down space, rampside vehicle access, full fueling services with competitive prices, a full-service part 145 repair service center, rental cars, crew cars, gourmet catering, concierge services and restaurant options.
As an Avfuel-branded FBO, ASI provides customers with lucrative rewards with AVTRIP and competitive prices with Avfuel Contract Fuel. In addition to contract fuel, customers will benefit from transaction ease when using the Avfuel Pro Card at ASI with the ability to put everything—fuel and non-fuel items with or without a fuel purchase—on one transaction, avoiding processing fees.
While the spread of COVID-19 has created new challenges for the aviation community, ASI is considered an essential business and is open to provide services. Its team has taken the necessary precautions for the health and safety of its employees and customers, and can perform the vital tasks required to keep aircraft flying.
