Sept. 17, 2015
Dakota Air Parts has been selected as the successful bidder for the recently retired Royal New Zealand Air Force UH-1 Iroquois helicopter fleet, associated spares, GSE, and related support package.
Dakota Air Parts is pleased with today’s announcement by the New Zealand Defence Force that it has been selected as the successful bidder through an international tender process for the recently retired Royal New Zealand Air Force UH-1 Iroquois helicopter fleet, associated spares, GSE, and related support package.

Dakota Air Parts is well recognized as an organization with many years of supporting UH-1 Iroquois operators globally for military, government, and commercial applications. With many operators continuing to use the UH-1, Dakota Air Parts will continue to support them.

Government surplussing of aircraft frequently takes years before an official tender/process is initiated, evaluated, and awarded. In this case, Dakota Air Parts has been actively following the Royal New Zealand Air Force UH-1 Iroquois project since 2009.

Dakota Air Parts is registered with the U.S. Department of State as a licensed exporter and importer of ITAR controlled items.

Dakota Air Parts remains actively engaged with other friendly foreign governments for similar programs.
