FORTBRAND SERVICES, INC., AND AL-JON MANUFACTURING LLC, COMPLETE DELIVERY OF NINE VAMMAS PSB 5500 MULTI-FUNCTION SNOW REMOVAL VEHICLE TO THE CINCINNATI/NORTHERN KENTUCKY INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (CVG).
Plainview, New York, August 8, 2012 - Fortbrand Services, Inc., the exclusive worldwide distributor of the Vammas snow removal product line, and Al-jon Manufacturing LLC, manufacturer of the Vammas snow removal product line, have completed delivery of nine Vammas PSB 5500 multi-function snow removal vehicles to the Kenton County Airport Board for use at Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG).
All nine units have the latest Vammas technology, including the P8400 flexible polyethylene moldboard plow and a 46” wafer broom. The Vammas PSB 5500 vehicles purchased by CVG replaced CVG’s existing fleet of dedicated front mounted brooms and plow trucks. CVG and Fortbrand personnel are working together in developing a snow plan to obtain the maximum benefit and performance from the new Vammas equipment at CVG.
Vammas PSB vehicles have revolutionized the method by which snow removal is accomplished on runways and taxiways at major North American airports. The reliability of Vammas PSB vehicles in clearing runways within predictable minimal time frames has resulted in aircraft arrival rate increases and substantial savings in delay costs to the airlines, as well as a reduction in operating, maintenance and human resource costs for airport operators.
