New Singapore PDC opened by Pratt & Whitney Canada

Manufacturer and designer of aircraft engines Pratt & Whitney Canada (P&WC), a business unit of United Technologies (NYSE:UTX), announced on Wednesday (12 September) that the company has opened a new parts distribution centre (PDC) in Singapore. The new Singapore centre is expected to accelerate part deliveries to customers in the Pacific Rim Region. The Singapore PDC will be managed by the P&W Component Solutions group on a 24 by 7 basis. It will offer a large inventory of new parts and exchange accessories for all P&WC engine models, the company said. The new facility has assumed responsibility for part orders previously processed through P&WC (SEA) Pte Ltd in Singapore and P&WC (A'Asia) Pty Ltd in Brisbane, Australia.
