Latest Additions To Avfuel’s Branded Dealer Network Bolster North American Offerings

Minot Aero Center (MOT) and Million Air Burbank (BUR) among others added to Avfuel's global contract fuel network

ANN ARBOR, MI / November 12, 2012 / GENERAL AND BUSINESS AVIATION NEWS / In the midst of branding international FBOs as well as adding locations around the world to its global Avfuel Contract Fuel network, Avfuel Corporation has continued to bolster North American access to its products and services with the recent additions of several high-profile locations.

Minot Aero Center (MOT) in Minot, ND, has seen an exponential growth in business over the last several years, largely due to activity in the Bakken Oil Region. The Bakken formation, underlying parts of North Dakota, Montana and Saskatchewan, contains significant producible reserves of oil and has propelled North Dakota to its spot as the number-two oil-producing state in the union, after Texas. In addition to the demand created by the oil region, Minot occupies a convenient central location in North America and is co-located in a building with US Customs, providing Canadian and trans-continental travelers with an advantageous tech stop, entry or departure option.

Million Air Burbank (BUR), just outside of Los Angeles, is an ideal alternative to the busy, oft-congested atmosphere of LAX. The Burbank-Glendale-Pasadena Airport is home to the major movie studios’ flight departments, and Million Air BUR staff are trained in the assistance of elite clientele that demand privacy. The FBO is staffed 24 hours a day and protected by monitored security gates for additional security. Million Air BUR boasts five acres of ramp space and can accommodate all types of aircraft, including a 757.

CYHU H-18 (YHU) is an ideal gateway to Canada’s cultural capital, Montreal. The largest city in Quebec and the second-largest in Canada, Montreal is a popular destination for both business and leisure travelers. The FBO is a favorite of the auto-racing teams flying in for events at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, the nearby racetrack.

“Strengthening our branded FBO network both domestically and internationally is the best overall service we can provide to customers,” said Joel Hirst, Avfuel Vice President, Sales. “Pilots and flight departments are pleased to find more options for Avfuel Contract Fuel, and AVTRIP Points combined with the FBO services they require or the locations they frequent. Avfuel’s FBO customers benefit from the power of a global network and the marketing and brand recognition that come along with it.”
