Phillips 66 Aviation Hires Kim Ruth To Lead Programs Development
HOUSTON May 7, 2015 – Phillips 66® Aviation, the nation’s largest network of branded aviation fuel dealers, today announced the appointment of Kimberly Ruth as director, programs development for general aviation. Ruth replaces Rosemary Leone, an avid pilot and aircraft owner who recently retired from Phillips 66 after holding the position for five years, and working at the organization for more than 10. Ruth will report to Greg Hart, manager, general aviation, and work out of Bartlesville, Okla.
In her new role, Ruth will be responsible for managing programs that Phillips 66 offers for its branded fixed base operators (FBOs), including WingPoints® Rewards, Phillips 66® Aviation Wings® Credit Card, Phillips 66® Aviation Personal Credit Card and credit card processing. She will also lead rebate programs for pilots, including the fuel discount provided by Phillips 66 that supports pilots who volunteer their time and aircraft to fly for the EAA Young Eagles and the Compassion Flight programs. In addition, Ruth will work with the Phillips 66 Advisory Council, a group comprised of owners and managers of Phillips 66 branded FBOs that are tasked with reviewing current and potential programs.
“Kim was an obvious choice to take on the director of programs development,” said Hart. “Her diverse aviation and energy employment history, as well as her proven leadership skills makes her a welcome addition to the general aviation team.”
Prior to joining Phillips 66 Aviation, Ruth worked in a range of positions in the aviation industry, including business consultant, commercial products, general aviation territory manager and alliance program director, global aviation for Chevron Corporation.
