Industry Executive Joins Transportation Consortium Of New York Airport Operators

Paul Brown has been appointed Senior Vice President of Airport Operators for the Transportation Consortium of New York

Paul Brown has been appointed Senior Vice President of Airport Operators for the Transportation Consortium of New York  (TCNY-A). In his new position, Mr. Brown will be a responsible for planning, sourcing and executing the development of commercial goods at TCNY-A projects.

In making the announcement, Phillip Collier, CEO of TCNY-A stated:

“Paul brings to the team the experience of operations of a global airport facility. His track record of managing non-aeronautical assets, particularly airport concessions, positions TCNY-A to be on the leading edge in the emerging trend of private management of airport facilities in the U.S. “

Before joining TCNY-A Mr. Brown was director ofconcessions for Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) and was specifically hired to lead the design, evaluation and selection process for the world’s largest single airport concessions RFP, which included existing and newly created spaces for retail, food and beverage and business travel services throughout the entire preexisting airport and the new Maynard H. Jackson, Jr., International Terminal. 

Fluent in Spanish, Mr. Brown’s concessions leadership earned him the Airports Council International’s Inclusion Award and Airport Revenue News’ Best New Specialty Concept Award, both in 2014.  Also that year, One Flew South, a prominent restaurant at ATL was named a James Beard nominee.  Finally, under his direction, the ATL airport concessions program received the Airport Concessions Award by the American Minority Advisory Council (AMAC) for overall commercial excellence in that same year.

Mr. Brown obtained two bachelor's degrees in business administration and economics and a master’s degree in business administration from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University, in Tallahassee, Fla.
