FL Technics, a global provider of one-stop-shop aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul services, has announced the expansion of its presence in North America by establishing a representative office in Miami, Florida. The new office will facilitate direct communication with the company’s US-based suppliers thus optimizing the price of its services and enhancing the development of new products for FL Technics customers in Europe and Asia.
“We are constantly looking for new opportunities in terms of growth and development. The company is especially interested in the markets which offer the best conditions for business and product development. The USA constitutes one of the largest aircraft spare parts production and tear down markets, and today almost half of our components reach us from over the Atlantic Ocean. With our new office in Florida, we will be able to establish stronger relations with the local suppliers and thus develop more flexible prices for the customers in our main markets – Europe and Asia Pacific,” comments Zilvinas Lapinskas, the CEO of FL Technics.
Florida hosts over 2000 various aviation-related companies which employ more than 80 000 aviation specialists. At the beginning, the FL Technics’ US-based team will mainly focus on cooperation with engine, APU and landing gear suppliers. However, in the future the team’s focus will be expanded to the manufacturers and suppliers of other aircraft systems as well.
