East Alton, IL, May 23, 2016- West Star Aviation recently announced that their current Chief Operating Officer (COO) Rodger Renaud, has been named president of West Star Aviation. He will work with Bob Rasberry, Chief Executive Officer, to continue with West Star's growth. This change was effective April 29, 2016.
Rodger began his career in aviation 36 years ago installing flight controls and wings on Sabre 65 aircraft at Rockwell International. He then moved to Midcoast Aviation where he worked with sales, operations and facilities. Rodger held the position of Senior Vice President upon his departure in 2012.
Joining the West Star team in April 2012 as general manager of the ALN facility, he was quickly promoted in 2013 to chief operating officer where he expanded his responsibilities to overseeing all aspects of operations at all West Star Aviation facilities.

He will be working with more of our strategic initiatives while still handling operations during our robust growth," said Bob Rasberry, CEO, West Star Aviation.
