Spirit Airlines announced July 21, it will begin nonstop flights between Kansas City International Airport (MCI) and Orlando International Airport (MCO) starting Nov. 10. Flights will be operated daily using Airbus A319 aircraft with 145 seats.
“We’re pleased to see our newest airline expand their ‘ultra-low fare’ service here,” said Joe McBride, marketing and communications manager of Kansas City’s Aviation Department. “Orlando is one of the most popular destinations from Kansas City and these new flights will certainly cause that demand to increase.”
