Established in 1989, Pipistrel is a manufacturer of light general aviation airplanes and electric flight technology based in Slovenia. Its products include a range of light sport airplanes, motorgliders, and the Panthera, a four-seat composite aircraft with three versions of propulsion: petrol engine, hybrid, and fully electric. The first private aircraft producer in the former Yugoslavia, Pipistrel is named for Pipistrellus, or the Latin word for bat, for the appearance of the powered hang-gliders that were its first products.
Based in Sandpoint, Idaho, Tamarack Aerospace Group designs and develops innovative technology for business, commercial, and military aircraft. Tamarack’s revolutionary Active Winglets significantly improve performance and fuel efficiencies, making aircraft safer, more mission capable, and more cost effective, all while reducing greenhouse gas emissions. With values of hard work, reliability, customer service, and corporate responsibility, Tamarack aims to be a global leader in aircraft performance enhancement.
In addition to these member companies, GAMA welcomed several associate members.
