Kick start your quick business trip or holiday travel by parking in the newly opened Short Term Parking Garage at the San Antonio International Airport (SAT). Passengers can begin using Short Term Parking at 8 a.m. Nov. 18.
The new facility offers travelers the closest and most convenient parking to both terminals, electric car charging stations and covered and lighted pathways from garage to terminals.
SAT’s latest customer experience enhancement provides travelers a new parking convenience prior to the Thanksgiving holiday, which traditionally serves as the beginning of the holiday peak-travel period for the airport.
“We are excited to open this new facility prior to the busiest travel time of the year. This makes it easier for travelers to navigate the airport and it offers customers an enhanced and more enjoyable traveling experience,” stated Russ Handy, aviation director for the city of San Antonio.
Our revised parking program includes a 15 minute ‘park for free’ option for those customers who want to breeze through the garage to pick up passengers and two “Guaranteed Parking Program” options for our regular customers, with a guaranteed parking area in the new short term garage and another lower-cost option in the existing guaranteed parking area in our long term garage.
