Erin Croop decribes herself as a go-getter, serving as the marketing coordinator for Page Field airport and the airport’s FBO, Base Operations. The job has Croop putting her lifelong interest in aviation to good use.
“I’ve always liked airplanes. As a kid, I spent summers flying from Atlanta, Georgia down to Fort Lauderdale to visit my grandparents. It was always so exciting to step aboard a plane and see the world from a different perspective,” recalled Croop.
Croop has designed a series of imaginative programs that have taken the FBO and airport branding to a new level. She’s independently written, designed and launched comprehensive initiatives, which span all of the airport’s marketing activities such as print, digital, email, web and industry events – including a full rewrite and redesign of the FBO website. Her marketing efforts helped the airport and FBO experience significant growth in both operations and revenues. She is the lead coordinator for Aviation Day, a free community event that brings an average of 5,000 people out to the airport to learn about and experience aviation each year. Croop is also a strong proponent for community service and organizes nearly 30 educational airport tours per year for children and adults, including a high school STEM tour each spring.
Outside of her job, Croop volunteers her time in many roles, including vice chair for the NBAA Young Professionals Council and Lee County Port Authority Employee Recognition Program Committee.
