His notable projects include due diligence for commercial airline networks and airport cargo business plans, benefiting institutional investment clients and stakeholders across the Americas.
Lee’s work has supported key feasibility studies for major U.S. airports, including Massport, Denver, and LAWA, focusing on market case assessments and aviation activity development. His deep understanding of demand drivers and supply levers has contributed to successful airport commercial planning RFPs, financial transactions, and master plans.
“I enjoy working alongside a diverse group of colleagues, from experts in airport technology, strategy, sustainability and tourism management to airline operations, concessions planning, air service marketing, and aviation finance…my list continues to expand each month,” Lee said. “Collaborating with such talented and passionate individuals of talent each day, including aviation enthusiasts (and foodies) is truly inspiring.”
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Lee’s insights were pivotal in developing global recovery passenger demand forecast scenarios, which added significant value to ICF Aviation’s projects. He has also played a crucial role in producing operating models for both Greenfield and Brownfield airport projects across North America, Latin America, and the Caribbean.
“I’m proud of several projects I’ve contributed to over the past several years, from feasibility studies for a new vertical cargo facility and community at MIA, to commercial program transition planning for PDX Next’s phased openings, and supporting the Apollo’s team investment thesis to acquire a majority stake of Modern Aviation” Lee said. “Of course there are plenty more that I would like to list off as well. All in all, what excites me most is knowing these types of projects will positively impact local communities and eventually become a reality.”
