Dillion Brown began his aviation career in the Air Force, serving many years before transitioning to general aviation. His journey in general aviation has been marked by hard work and determination. Brown is a leader on the shop floor, assisting new hires from the military in their transition to civilian life.
“I think what drives me to succeed is my passion and curiosity. I love learning the things,” Brown said. “Whether is learning about a new aircraft or learning how something works/ operates. I've always had a curiosity about mechanical operations and love to learn.”
A veteran, Brown has earned many honors, medals, and accomplishments during his military career, though he remains humble about his decorated service. He continues to serve in the Air National Guard and was recently called back to duty. His departure affected the entire organization deeply, with many shedding tears over his dangerous yet important mission. The staff’s gratitude and relief were immense when he returned safely.
Brown is married and works hard to support his family, including his young daughter. His experience in the Air Force has given him a profound understanding of the impact a technician’s work has on safety, and his meticulous attention to detail reflects this. He wrenches on aircraft with the knowledge that lives depend on his work. Brown is committed to excellence, participating in and being recognized by FAA Diamond Award training programs. He ensures planes are released on time with safety as the top priority.
Brown is unique in his role as both a skilled troubleshooter and a customer-facing manager, effectively communicating with C-suite clientele and relating well to his teammates. He is respected and beloved by everyone he works with. His commitment to his work and his country is unwavering, and he continues to sacrifice himself for the greater good.
Currently working towards his private pilot certificate, Brown understands the importance of a technician also being a pilot.
