Business Air, a private jet management and charter operation headquartered at Boeing Field, has announced that Emily Morey, Business Air’s Executive Vice President, has accepted the position of President, effective immediately.
Business Air CEO Gene Buccola, on promoting Morey to her new role, said, “I am delighted to announce Emily Morey as President of Business Air. Emily is an extraordinary leader with in-depth industry knowledge, experience, and expertise. Emily’s promotion reflects her tremendous achievements over the past few years, but more importantly than that, Emily’s proven leadership is exactly what the company needs as it looks towards the future.”
Under Morey’s steadfast guidance, Business Air achieved FAA certification for European flight operations in 2019. With the recent addition of Asian flight operations certification in 2020, Business Air is the only Seattle-based company with an FAA Part 135 global operations certification.
“I am honored by this opportunity to continue to grow Business Air with a team of consummate professionals,” said Morey. “Together, we have accomplished so much over the last five years, and despite these challenging times, I believe that our future is bright. Our global certification means we can fly our clients anywhere in the world. Our private charter business is growing, and our portfolio of aircraft under management has grown 250% this year alone.”
In addition to her role as President of Business Air, Morey will maintain her position as Executive Vice President of High Plateau Capital LLC, a private equity investment fund and lead investor in Business Air
