West Star Aviation Announces Klose as Director of Satellite/MRT and Engines
West Star announced the promotion of Sharon Klose to director of satellite/MRT and engines. Since 2017 Sharon was director of the engine program development and recently took over managing the AOG/MRT teams early last year.
In Klose's new leadership role, she will continue to further elevate the customer experience and drive the company’s customer-centric culture, while continuing to manage the Engine Program Development and AOG/MRT services. Klose will lead West Star's satellite technicians to aid in troubleshooting maintenance concerns and providing solutions that are best suited to help their customers get back in the air as quickly as possible. Prior to joining West Star Aviation, Klose held the role of senior sales/service engine manager at Duncan Aviation for more than 10 years.
West Star Aviation’s Satellite locations are strategically based at five business aviation airports across the United States, including Chicago, IL (PWK); Denver, CO (APA); Houston, TX (CXO); Scottsdale, AZ (SDL); and Minneapolis, MN (MSP). Each facility is staffed independently with full technical and personnel support.
“We are thrilled to expand Sharon’s role within West Star Aviation. Her promotion is a testament to her 30 years of industry experience and solid leadership skills,” said Jim Rankin, chief executive officer. “Sharon’s strong background in business aircraft support will be an asset to the Satellite facilities as she works to maintain overall customer satisfaction and keep West Star a top choice for our customers.”
“The past year working with our MRT teams has been both rewarding and challenging. The level of service and work ethic this team produces is unsurpassed in our industry,” said Klose. “I am truly excited for the opportunities to facilitate the upcoming growth of the MRT/SATs and Engine Program.”
