Dallas Airmotive Names Mike Englert as Regional Turbine Center Manager in St. Louis, MO
Dallas Airmotive, a Signature Aviation Global Engine Services (GES) company, announced the promotion of Mike Englert to general manager of its Regional Turbine Center (RTC) in St. Louis, MO, effective in April. Upon retirement of former St. Louis RTC general manager, Doug Gannaway, Englert will begin leading the RTC’s daily operations and customer support functions.
Englert is A&P-certified with IA privileges and has more than 35 years of aircraft maintenance experience including his 13-year tenure at Dallas Airmotive in field service and RTC leadership roles, as well as multiple director of maintenance roles prior to joining the Dallas Airmotive team.
“We are confident Mike will do very well leading the St. Louis RTC, just as he did when he managed Dallas Airmotive’s PW500 hot section shop within Cessna Wichita for several years,” Jeff Turner, Dallas Airmotive vice president of sales and service, said. “We are excited for Mike to transition into the role and we wish Doug Gannaway all the best in his retirement and thank him for many years of service to the organization and expert support of our customers.”
Englert said he looks forward to continuing the legacy of expert support and leadership Gannaway put in place over his tenure at the St. Louis RTC and within the company.
“I am proud of Dallas Airmotive and in being a part of a team that reveres professionalism so highly,” Englert said. “I recognize the demand of operators concerning aircraft availability and cost of operation, and I look forward to using that knowledge and my experience with FAA Part 91, 135 and 145 operations and business management to best support our customers.”
