A military plane crashed in Buckeye, Ariz., Thursday morning, according to local media reports.
Local television station Arizona Family reported that authorities were called to investigate reports of a plane crash around 11 a.m., local time, in the Sun City Festival development, near Sun Valley Parkway and Canyon Springs Blvd.
The incident likely involves a plane from Luke Air Force Base, which is located about seven miles west of the central business district of Glendale, in Maricopa County, and about 15 miles west of Phoenix.
It’s still not clear if there have been any injuries or what type of aircraft went down.
Authorities have also not determined the flight’s path.
A five-mile temporary flight path has been put into effect in the area.
