Didsbury Engineering has produced more than 80 sets of weapon-loading equipment for the German Air Force. The equipment has been subjected to environmental testing and full COMPAT Test with the Eurofighter. The basic loader together with specially designed adaptors would also provide the capability to load weapons and stores to other aircraft such as F16 and Tornado. The basis of the system is a manual hydraulic loader together with specialist adaptors for each weapon. By using the lift beam, which is included in the suite of equipment, the system is capable of removing stores from a trailer or transport container, placing it on the adaptor and lifting the adaptor and loading the store to the aircraft.
