AJW Technique Signs Component MRO Contract With Tunisair Technics
The multi-component repair agreement with one of North Africa’s leading airlines, covers over 300 part numbers, and ensures that high quality repairs will enable the airline to continue to fly safely and on time.
AJW Technique, AJW’s MRO facility based in Montreal, will continuously analyse component and sub-component reliability data against the specific flight characteristics of the operator to deliver the optimum support programme throughout the term.
Joshua Goring, Director of Sales at AJW Technique, said: “Using a dedicated logistics channel as well as an operationally efficient facility, that is currently averaging 10 days for shop processing, means we are very well placed to adapt to variances in customer demand. We will be providing Tunisair with a one-stop-shop for engineering and maintenance services so they can focus on the importance of delivering the optimum passenger experience worldwide.”
The agreement will be the second major support contract for the North African region, where AJW Technique’s expertise has been rapidly recognised as at the forefront of the industry offering.
Imed Mhiri, General Manager at Tunisair Technics, said: “Trusting AJW Technique with a large portion of our maintenance requirement will be of significant benefit to us. It will facilitate progression in terms of operation as well as commercially when considering our total fleet cost.”
AJW Technique now has full repair capability for the majority of ATA chapters across commercial and business aircraft with global inventory support 24/7.
