Sunshine Aviation Services, LLC is owned and operated as a part 145 repair station by Patrick Peterson, AP and avionics specialist. Peterson comes from an extensive maintenance background, with a passion for avionics.
Sunshine Aviation is what was previously known as Waukegan Aviation Services (Waukegan Avionics), located at KUGN, and Sunshine Aircraft Repair, INC. The avionics shop was moved to the maintenance shop at KENW in 2022.
Howard Siedlecki (AP, IA), previous owner, operator, FAA National Mechanic of the Year 1986, remains on staff as a veritable wealth of knowledge.
