Jet Aviation St. Louis Delivers Third Boeing Business Jet and Schedules a Return Visit
ST. LOUIS, Mo. / October 22, 2013 – Just a few months into narrow-body service, Jet Aviation St.
Louis performed inspections on its third Boeing Business Jet (BBJ) and already has scheduled a
return visit for additional service for the same BBJ in the near future.
The BBJ spent a week in September in Jet Aviation St. Louis’ narrow-body hangar for 6-, 12- and 24-
month inspections. The owner has scheduled a return visit within a few months for additional service
expected to take several weeks.
Jet Aviation St. Louis performed inspections and minor interior and exterior upgrades on two other BBJs
earlier this year, including the industry’s first-ever retrofit installation of an enhanced vision system (EVS)
in a BBJ.
“Servicing our third BBJ so soon after expanding our narrow-body capabilities demonstrates that we have
the experience and technical depth to meet the standards for the airframe,” said Chuck Krugh, senior
vice president and general manager, Jet Aviation St. Louis. “Our employees and facility are ready to
service BBJs. In addition to a new narrow-body hangar, we sent our technicians for training and handson
experience at our sister facility in Basel that has been BBJ-certified for a long time. And we made a
number of investments in infrastructure. We’re pleased to be expanding the list of quality airframes that
we serve here.”
