Phoenix Heliparts Inks Teaming Agreement with CFD International for Military Helicopter Weapons and Systems Integration
Dubai Air Show, November 18, 2013....Phoenix Heliparts (PHP), of Mesa, Arizona, has signed a teaming agreement with CFD International, of Princeton, Texas, at the Dubai Air show. Combining Phoenix Heliparts’ expertise in custom refurbishing and systems and avionics integration, and CFD’s strengths in commercial modifications and military helicopter armament systems, creates a powerful alliance serving an international clientele.
CFD has 30 years of experience building and integrating every aspect of helicopter armament systems, from the system control units for gun/rocket fire, out to the mounting platforms and to the tips of the guns.
This expertise fits well with PHP’s significant experience in legacy helicopter refurbishing and upgrades. Together, CFD International and PHP provide the only combat-proven aftermarket armament systems, and fully integrated legacy helicopter renewal program for military customers around the world.
Tina Cannon, PHP president, said of the agreement, “This agreement brings us to the forefront of the international helicopter industry, serving the military as well as the commercial markets, internationally. CFD is very well respected in its industry, and our agreement, signed today, will provide the strength to grow significantly.”
CFD International president and CEO, Bill Gordon stated: "We are very pleased to be associated with Phoenix. They are a ‘get it done’ company, and we have had a great business relationship with them extending back many years. CFD and PHP fit like hand in glove. Together we are equipped to take almost any helicopter, in whatever condition, and bring it up to "like new" standard with combat proven armament that will maximize the effectiveness of any US allied military in the world today. For a fraction of the new price, we can refurb and arm any legacy helicopter."
