Monarch Aircraft Engineering Scoops ‘Through-Life Engineering Services Award’ at The Manufacture of the Year Awards, 2013
Monarch Aircraft Engineering (MAEL), the award-winning independent aircraft maintenance provider and division of The Monarch Group, last night won the ‘Through-Life Engineering Services’ award at The Manufacture of the Year Awards 2013 gala dinner which took place at the International Convention Centre, Birmingham, UK.
Shortlisted in two categories, MAEL secured the ‘Through-Life Engineering Services’ award for the efficient management and maintenance of complex, long-life products with a focus on design, cost, reliability and infrastructure.
This award was given to the manufacturing company or plant that, in the opinion of the judges, is making quantifiable progress towards providing through-life engineering services, such as maintenance repair and overhaul (MRO), obsolescence management and design for services.
Commenting on the award, Ian Bartholomew, Commercial Director of MAEL, said:
“One behalf of all my colleagues at MAEL we are delighted to take home this most prestigious award. The finalists represent some of the most talented and dynamic companies in the UK across a wide variety of sectors, and to receive this is a testament to the team’s achievements this year and our relentless drive to deliver superior customer service.”
