JSSI Initiates First Conference in China – Establishes Choice Awards
December 2013 – Chicago, Illinois -- Jet Support Services, Inc. (JSSI), the leading provider of hourly cost maintenance programs for the business aviation industry, successfully hosted its inaugural private Management and Maintenance Business Aircraft Conference in China last month with more than 60 in attendance and established the JSSI Choice Awards for the greater China region.
The by-invitation only, three-day event involved industry professionals from aircraft management companies and aircraft leasing and finance businesses, as well as aircraft owners’ representatives. As an authority on aircraft hourly cost maintenance programs, JSSI presented a detailed analysis of how programs are structured to control maintenance costs and quality, as well as enhance aircraft value. Other industry experts shared extensive presentations on aircraft finance and leasing, maintenance cost control, MRO facility interaction and aircraft acquisitions.
“This was a successful event and everyone walked away more informed and enlightened about the many facets of business aircraft operations,” commented Mark Winzar, Vice President, Technical Operations. “We see this conference as an opportunity to provide valuable insight regarding the infrastructure and business tools that are needed to grow the business aviation community here in Asia. The new JSSI Choice Awards were established at this conference and will include Best Management Company, Best Financial/Leasing Company, and Best Maintenance Facility for the China market. The inaugural winners of these new JSSI Choice Awards will be announced next year at the Asia Business Aviation Convention and Exhibition (ABACE) in Shanghai, China April 15-17, 2014.
