Yukon, Oklahoma – February 24, 2014
Legacy Aviation has made a significant commitment to offering full maintenance, modification and repair capabilities to the venerable King Air line of aircraft. The decision to invest in key personnel, airframe and power plant authorizations, as well as the recent expansion of their available hangar space, was made in part because of the large number of King Air aircraft based near Legacy’s Yukon, Oklahoma, facility.
Raul (RJ) Gomez is the President and CEO of Legacy Aviation. “Our market research indicates there are nearly 600 King Airs that are based within a 500 mile radius of our facility. We have maintained strong relationships with many regular King Air clients over the years, giving our technicians a real strong knowledge of the airframe and their systems. Quality and knowledgeable service doesn’t just happen…it’s something an organization works on for years and demonstrates every day to customers. The people at Legacy are all very tenured professionals when it comes to servicing owner flown turbo prop airframes. We want King Air operators to know they’ve got a terrific option nearby with Legacy.”
Legacy has recently hired King Air specific maintenance and repair personnel as well as PT6 line maintenance and repair technicians. Complete King Air airframe services, inspections, modifications and repair, avionics, engines and propellers are available.
“Legacy has a reputation for being thorough in our service and extremely responsive to AOG situations for our customers. We want the King Air community to know we’re completely committed to them here at Legacy,” says Gomez.
Legacy Aviation is located on Clarence E. Page Airport (KRCE) and has a 7,000 foot runway making Legacy an easy destination. Full FBO services are also available to King Air customers, including fuel, crew cars and nearby accommodations.
