March 19, 2014 (Saint-Cloud, France): Dassault’s Falcon Regional Maintenance & Operations Seminars (M&O), this year will cover nine cities across three continents. The 2014 tour kicks off in Paris on April 1st and ends in San Jose, California, on May 20th.
“Face to face meetings are the focal point of our ongoing effort to optimize communications with Falcon operators,” said Jacques Chauvet, Senior Vice President of Worldwide Customer Service. “There is no better platform for such face to face contact than our M&O Seminars, which is why we continue to improve and expand the content of the seminar programs so customers can most benefit from these important and valuable interactive events.”
The annual Regional M&O Seminar series is tradition to the Falcon family and attracts hundreds of attendees to each session. Their importance has grown as the Falcon in service fleet has expanded and recently passed the 2,000 aircraft mark with over 1,200 operators worldwide. This year’s series of events features expanded formats, from one to two days, in Paris, France and
Mahwah, New Jersey in response to the growing number of operators supported from Europe and the Northeastern US.
The Regional M&O Seminars offer Falcon operators a unique opportunity to communicate directly with Dassault specialists, engineering teams, pilots and supplier representatives on a wide range of topics. They address both operational and technical issues and are designed to help aircraft operators improve the efficiency, reliability and safety of their operations. Topics
range from the latest customer service and engineering support initiatives to enhancements in troubleshooting and product reliability.
The seminars include interaction with model and support specialists as well as representatives from Authorized Service Centers, vendors and partners. Certificates of attendance can be issued to participants and serve as credit for recurrent maintenance training.
Dedicated pilot sessions lead by the Falcon Operational Support team, headed by Frédéric Leboeuf, draw a growing number of Falcon crews eager to learn about the latest developments that can help optimize flight operations.
This year’s sessions will include demonstrations of the new Falcon Customer Portal along with dedicated presentations of new services and products like the all-new Falcon 5X large cabin twinjet, due to enter service in 2017, and systems enhancements such as FalconSphere and FalconBroadcast.
