Greensboro, North Carolina, June 18, 2014 … TIMCO Aviation Services (“TIMCO”), a subsidiary of the Hong Kong Aircraft Engineering Company Limited (“HAECO”), announced that it launched new line maintenance and cabin services operations at Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport (“ANC”) in mid-May, and at San Francisco International Airport (“SFO”) in early June. The new locations add to TIMCO’s existing network (now 18 airports served), with base operations located adjacent to the company’s headquarters in Greensboro.
The new locations offer a range of services to new and existing customers including line maintenance transit checks, overnight scheduled cabin maintenance and aircraft-on-the-ground (“AOG”) recovery support. Each location is also fully supported by TIMCO’s airframe operations to provide special maintenance, repair and overhaul (“MRO”) capabilities as needed.
Chris Stephens, General Manager of Line Services, said, “It’s always exciting to open locations for delivering line maintenance, especially when doing so provides additional benefits to some of our long-time customers on the line, or served by other parts of TIMCO.” He added, “We have already organized a core group of experienced and talented technicians at each location, and look forward to the prospect of expanding each team as we grow.”
TIMCO’s current line services locations include: Anchorage, AL (ANC); Boston, MA (BOS); Burbank, CA (BUR); Cincinnati, OH (CVG); Denver, CO (DEN); Fort Meyers, FL (RSW); Greensboro, NC (GSO); Minneapolis, MN (MSP); Newark, NJ (EWR); New York, NY (JFK); Omaha, NE (OMA); Orlando, FL (MCO); Panama City, FL (ECP); Phoenix, AZ (PHX); San Francisco, CA (SFO); Seattle, WA (SEA); Washington DC (IAD); and White Plains, NY (HPN).
