Ameco Eyes More Airframe Modification

Ameco is well experienced in providing airframe modifications on Boeing 737, 747, 767, 777 and Airbus A330, A340 with a portfolio of the cabin, structure and system.

As a high value-added product, Ameco’s airframe modification sees stable trend in 2015. Up to January 2016, Ameco has completed freighter conversion on five Boeing 757-200s in its Chengdu Branch.

Base on the Markets and Markets’ forecast on the global aircraft modification market from 2015 to 2017, the total value of the global aircraft modification is estimated to reach 4.3 billion US dollars up to 2017.

Ameco is well experienced in providing airframe modifications on Boeing 737, 747, 767, 777 and Airbus A330, A340 with a portfolio of the cabin, structure and system, as well as, the wing rib modification for A380.

In the past 2015, The MRO specialist redelivered the cabin refurbishment and business class modification for Boeing 767 fleet of Shanghai Airlines. It highlights modification design of business class including engineering design, airworthiness certificate and interior material package manufacture.

In addition, Ameco offers full-customer oriented cabin modification on Condor Boeing 767-300 in last July covering new cabin layout, IFE upgrade, cabin light installation with new RGB LED lights, new seat installation with LED screen installation, galley and lavatory modification and refurbishment, ceiling and stowage bin modification.

The Beijing-based MRO performed Ku Satellite Communication System and IFE System Interconnection for a Boeing 777-200 of Air China in last August. Before it, Ameco can provide commercial airlines with low-cost, ultra-flexible, fast system solutions such as Nitrogen Generation System (NGS) modification on Boeing 777, Global Communication Suite (GCS) modification on Boeing 747s, Overhead Attendant Rest (OHAR) modification on Boeing 777s, Boeing 777-200s’ Flight Crew Rest (FCR) modification, as well as, the in-flight Wi-Fi installation for Air China A330s.
