HAECO Americas, a member of the HAECO Group, announced today with Alaska Airlines the extension of their Boeing 737NG airframe maintenance contract through 2020. The initial Alaska Airlines maintenance agreement was first executed in 2010, and was extended for the first time in 2013.
HAECO Americas has worked closely with Alaska Airlines through the years, providing maintenance services that excel in terms of quality, scope and value. Jim Sokol, president MRO Services of HAECO Americas said, “I am proud of the partnership HAECO Americas has developed with Alaska Airlines. Over the years we continue to expand, providing Alaska Airlines with MRO and interior reconfiguration services that meet their satisfaction.”
Kurt Kinder, Vice President of Maintenance & Engineering of Alaska Airlines, commented, “HAECO Americas shares our commitment to safety, quality and exceptional service. The company has a solid track record in performing quality airframe maintenance for us, and I look forward to continuing this partnership through 2020.”
In addition to the extended contract, HAECO Americas is currently collaborating with Alaska Airlines on an ongoing large-scale cabin improvement program. HAECO Cabin Solutions, a business unit of HAECO Americas that is also based in Greensboro, North Carolina, provided key support to Alaska Airlines in Phase 1 of its interior reconfiguration program, which involved over 100 aircraft. HAECO Cabin Solutions will continue to offer support during Phase 2 of the program, which will begin later this year.
