On November 7th, Ameco started maintenance on Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft for Air China. This is the first Boeing 737 MAX 8 delivered to Chinese carrier.
Ameco has been approved by CAAC to provide Boeing 737 MAX 8 with line maintenance, scheduled check, modification, engine change and APU replacement services.
In addition, Ameco Training Center has been approved by CAAC as the first CCAR-147 training organization in China to provide Boeing 737 MAX training services in its Beijing training center. On November 6th, the first training course given by Ameco teachers started, with twenty-four mechanics in class.
Ameco is keeping pace with the aviation maintenance industry by the rapid development on the new-generation aircraft maintenance.
In this February, Ameco completed its first 3C-check on a Boeing 747-8F operated by an international customer. In this May, Ameco provided its first 2C-check for a Boeing 777-300ER. Ameco has been providing Boeing 787 maintenance service for the global customers since 2014 and it is planned to do the letter check on Boeing 787 in the coming two years. In addition to Boeing aircraft, Ameco starts Airbus A350 maintenance service since November of 2015, when Ameco offered its first Airbus A350XWB releasing service for an international customer in Shanghai.
