Last week AAR held an internship program exposing students to various aspects of aviation.
DAY 1: Introduction to AAR. A group of students from Chicago's Perspectives Charter Schools (PCS) tour AAR headquarters, learn about AAR's values and meet with CEO John Holmes.
DAY 2: Tower & Air Traffic Control. PCS students return to AAR for a special field trip to Chicago Executive Airfield's tower to learn about the skills it takes to run an airport.
DAY 3: Behind the Scenes at ORD. In partnership with United, AAR hosts PCS student for a very special behind-the-scenes look at operations within O'Hare International Airport!
DAY 4: Valuable Lessons from AAR's Finest. PCS students spend the day at AAR headquarters, hearing about additional career paths within the aviation industry.
DAY 5: Experiencing an MRO. On the last day of their internship program, PCS students travel to nearby MRO - Rockford to learn what it takes to keep planes flying safely in the sky.
