MIAMI, FL (November 13, 2020) - The leader in aircraft line maintenance, FEAM is experiencing significant growth and actively hiring A&P mechanics to keep up with the surge in air cargo demand from the pandemic. The Miami-based MRO provides maintenance and engineering services to a variety of domestic and international air carriers flying transport planes throughout the country. FEAM has welcomed laid off employees from large airlines and even started deploying their services to locations outside their standard network to prepare for the impending holiday shipping boom.
FEAM has created over 100 airframe and powerplant technician jobs this year alone and intends to surpass this number given the ecommerce industry fueling the need for additional cargo aircraft operations. FEAM is growing at a rapid pace with recent expansions in the MIA and CVG airports, and has also been actively hiring during the COVID-19 pandemic.
“As line maintenance service demand grows relative to the growth in the freighter market, FEAM is excited to serve the industry on a larger scale by creating more skilled technician jobs and expanding our services throughout the country,” said Cam Murphy, FEAM managing director. “We pride ourselves on building opportunities within our industry and delivering the highest-quality aircraft maintenance to our clients which has proved to propel the company’s growth year over year.”
In the past year, FEAM has opened two aircraft hangars including their newest facility at Miami International Airport. The 2-million-dollar project is an expansion of the Miami hangar that will provide FEAM with the opportunity to serve the growing demand of freighter business and also increase the capacity of existing services. The Hangar at Miami International Airport joins the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG) as FEAM's second aircraft hangar in the United States.
