Blackhawk Promotes Donnie Holder to Chief Information Officer
Blackhawk Aerospace announced that Donnie Holder has been promoted to chief information officer (CIO). Holder has been with Blackhawk since its inception and celebrated 22 years with the company on May 1.
As CIO, Holder will be responsible for streamlining operations by developing technology systems that will ensure data integrity and security across all the Blackhawk companies and will help shape the future of the organization.
"Donnie has been the backbone of Blackhawk since the beginning," said Jim Allmon, Blackhawk's President and CEO. "Starting out as a receptionist 22 years ago, Donnie quickly proved himself to be a key component of the future plans of Blackhawk. Promoted to IT and Marketing Manager, Donnie was instrumental in helping the Blackhawk leadership to grow the company to where it is today." Allmon continues, "it is only fitting, and long overdue, that Donnie join the Senior Leadership Team as our new CIO. I would wish Donnie luck, but he doesn't need it as I am certain that he will thrive in this new role."
In Holder's time with Blackhawk, he has held positions in various departments and performed duties ranging from marketing strategy management and graphic design to IT administration and programming.
"Having a foot in both the marketing and IT departments was very beneficial because so much of marketing relies on technology," said Holder. "My goal is to integrate the Blackhawk companies for seamless interaction across all platforms."
Holder operates out of Blackhawk Headquarters in Waco, TX. In his spare time, he enjoys music, art, game design, and escape rooms.
