Lufthansa Technik Middle East and Killick Aerospace Sign Consignment Agreement
Lufthansa Technik Middle East (LTME) and Killick Aerospace have signed a consignment agreement to provide Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) services where needed, and provide storage services for Killick’s Boeing 737 NG flight control surfaces and nacelles.
With the new agreement, LTME will become the preferred partner in the region when it comes to Killick Aerospace’s MRO requirements like inspections, repairs or overhaul of these spares. The agreement also allows Killick, a leading provider of commercial engine, airframe, as well as rotable parts and components, to store a number of its larger sized spares, for example flaps, spoilers and engine fan cowls, in LTME’s facility located at the Mohammed Bin Rashid Aerospace Hub in Dubai South. LTME will be able to provide these spares as a loan, exchange or sale to its customers. In this regard, both partners can especially build on LTME`s extensive expertise and experience with inspections and repairs of advanced composite materials.
