Clay Lacy Completes 10th Garmin G1000 NXi Upgrade on Embraer Phenom
Clay Lacy Aviation provides comprehensive maintenance, repair, and overhaul services, including full-suite avionics installations, system upgrades and modifications. The company recently completed its 10th installation of the Garmin G1000 NXi avionics suite at their FAA Part 145 Repair Station at Van Nuys Airport (KVNY), where Clay Lacy is an authorized Garmin dealer and has operated an Embraer Authorized Service Center since 2009.

The 10th installation took place on an Embraer Phenom 100, but the Embraer-authorized facilities at Van Nuys and McClellan-Palomar Airport in Carlsbad/San Diego (KCRQ) offer MRO and upgrade services for the full range of business jets including the Embraer Legacy, Praetor and Phenom lines. Clay Lacy offers Embraer operators services including airframe inspections, AOG support, parts sales, rotable service, avionics installation and repairs, and interior refurbishment and upgrades. Clay Lacy has a team of factory-trained Embraer experts including A&P technicians, IA-qualified inspectors, and an onsite FAA-designated airworthiness representative.
