The Miami Maintenance Council is a not-for-profit organization founded in 1989.  The purpose of the MMMC is to foster, stimulate and encourage maintenance cooperation between the Airlines, Aircraft Maintenance Facilities, and Maintenance Service and Support Organizations in the South Florida community. Supported by a membership of over 250 aviation professionals the voluntary Executive Committee receives cooperation from the Dade and Broward County Aviation Departments, Federal Aviation Administration, Law Enforcement Agencies as well as other Agencies related to aircraft maintenance activities, federal or otherwise.

The MMMC provides a platform where aviation community leaders disseminate news of current developments as it may affect aircraft maintenance organizations and member companies. Seminars, training sessions, award presentations and specific sessions are held as needed to support growth of the South Florida aviation community. Acting as the communication conduit for the FAA and County Aviation departments, the MMMC has created an environment of trust that efficiently provides a means to openly discuss and resolve complex regulatory issues eliminating costly confusion in the industry.
