LINCOLN, NEB —Two of Duncan Aviation’s well-established Satellite Avionics facilities will kick off the New Year with new managers. Long-time Manager at the Denver, Colorado, Satellite facility Bob Hazy will be assuming responsibility for the Duncan Aviation Sacramento and Hayward, California, Satellite Shops on January 2, 2017. Install Team Lead Wayne Sand, who has been working on avionics in the Denver, Colorado area for 28 years, will take over as Manager of the Denver and Broomfield Satellite Shops. “We are so pleased because both shops now have the perfect mix of technical experience and team integration,” says Manager of Satellite Operations, Matt Nelson. “We have a great core team at the Sacramento Shop, and customers and team members alike will benefit from Bob’s years of technical knowledge and management experience.”Nelson is concerned about every shop and all of Duncan Aviation’s customers, but because he worked in the Denver Satellite Shop for nine years, it holds a special place in his heart, and he wanted to make sure the manager there was a perfect fit for the customers in the area and with the other team members at the two shops. “With Wayne taking over as manager, I am confident there won’t be any continuity issues. He’s worked for Duncan Aviation since 1994, and he knows our customers along the front range very well. I know he’ll make sure the two Satellite Shops continue to meet area customers’ needs,” says Nelson. In addition to the Avionics Satellite Shops in Broomfield, Denver, Hayward and Sacramento, Duncan Aviation has a network of more than 24 shops and workaway teams located within an hour of the 25 busiest airports in the United States (www.duncanaviation.aero/locations/#satellites). “Eighteen of our Satellite Avionics Shops are more than just nearby; conveniently, we have hangars at18 of the busiest airports in the country. We have brick-and-mortar facilities attached to an FBO for easy hangar access in every Satellite location,” says Matt Nelson. “Our customers can trust Duncan Aviation and any of its locally managed Satellite Shops with all of their avionics needs. Now, with the mandate deadline for the ADS-B rapidly approaching, we’d like our customers to know they can trust us with their ADS-B needs, as well. We’ve installed ADS-B equipment on everything from Cessna 172s to Boeing Business Jets (BBJs).”About Duncan AviationDuncan Aviation is an aircraft service provider supporting the aviation needs of government and business operators and other service providers.
