Robinson Aerospace Receives FAA Part 145 Air Agency Certificate

Oct. 9, 2018
Robinson Aerospace relocated to Fort Worth's Alliance Airport in 2017.

On August 31st of this year, Robinson Aerospace was officially granted its Part 145 Air Agency Certificate. The certificate provides Limited Airframe and Limited Powerplant ratings, which essentially allows the company to now offer a full range of completion and MRO services from it's Ft. Worth location on Alliance Airport.

Robinson's 2017 relocation to Alliance, was a bold move for the company in terms of it's expansion and ability to serve customers directly. "But without the 145 Certificate, we were still limited in the services we could offer our customers" said Ronnie Hudson, the company's General Manager. "This changes everything" he says, explaining that both their interiors and MRO divisions can now perform a full range of services on actual aircraft within its hangars.

The 145 Certificate now grants Robinson the official and ongoing ability to offer complete green and retrofit completion services, full MRO services, upholstery, veneer replacement, cockpit refresh and host of other related offerings that round out the company's overall service menu.

"Receipt of our 145 certificate is quite significant" explains Mr. Hudson. "It effectively now places both Robinson Aerospace and Robinson Aircraft Interiors squarely on the US and global stage, as a full range completion and MRO jet center."

Robinson's facility rests on the airport's east side immediately adjacent the iconic control tower and sports more than 217,000 sq. ft of state of the art offices, conference suites, design showrooms, climate controlled hangars and integrated back-shops. Mark Robinson, the company's VP of Operations said, "Our current hangars predominately accommodate Bizjets, with fourteen available bays for top-tier jets like the Global Express, Challeger 604, Falcon 7X, etc., with all the required on-site support shops and expertise to handle everything from a simple maintenance check or interior refresh to full interior retrofits and major MRO services."

As with previous years, Robinson will be an exhibitor at this year's NBAA (National Business Aviation Association Convention & Exhibition) in Orlando, Florida. This year, the company will be displaying from a newly designed booth as well as rolling out a new company brochure. Additionally, Robinson's principals and executive personnel will on hand to explain more about the 145 Certificate and will be offering one-page flyers that expressly detail each of it's primary divisions. Robinson Aerospace and Robinson Aircraft Interiors invite all to come by for a visit in Orlando at Booth #3672.
