Tavaero Jet Charter Co-Owner Named One of Houston’s Most Influential Women
Marcela White, co-owner of Tavaero Jet Charter Corp., has been named one of “Houston’s 50 Most Influential Women of 2023” by Houston Woman Magazine. Each of the honorees was nominated for inclusion on the “50 Women” list by a reader of Houston Woman Magazine and was then selected by the staff of the publication.
Houston Woman Magazine hosted a celebration dinner for the honorees and their invited guests on Thursday night, March 21, at the Junior League of Houston. More than 350 attendees filled the Junior League ballroom. Included in the crowd were many past honorees, several elected officials, and local celebrities.
Beverly Denver, publisher of Houston Woman Magazine, commented: “Those selected as Houston’s 50 Most Influential Women of 2023 have earned an enviable reputation for their expertise in a particular field or arena. They are knowledgeable and trustworthy. The thoughts and actions of these women influence the thoughts and actions of others. It is my distinct pleasure to introduce these remarkable women to our readers and to others in our community.”
White, who has more than 35 years of aviation industry experience, serves as a guest speaker and reliable source for media on aviation and entrepreneurship topics. She is a member of the National Business Aviation Association and several other industry and professional associations.
“What an impressive event it was that Beverly and her Houston Woman Magazine team hosted! I am truly humbled to be included as one of the 50 Women of Influence in the greater Houston area for 2023. I am thankful to have been nominated by my sister and aviation colleague Lorraine Grubbs, and I am thankful that my family was able to join me at the celebration dinner,” White said.
White is a graduate of the University of Houston. Born to a Peruvian mother and American father, she is fluent in English and Spanish and enjoys traveling both personally and professionally.
