Rolland Vincent Associates (RVA) is excited to announce the addition of business aviation expert Dr. Dean Roberts as Vice President, Strategy, Sustainability, and Development, effective immediately.

Dr. Roberts has over four decades of expertise in strategy, industry analysis, market forecasting, and analytics, highlighted by his distinguished 40+-year career at Rolls-Royce. He played a pivotal role in developing business aviation strategies and market forecasts for the company’s engine programs, including the Rolls-Royce Pearl family. His extensive experience includes corporate development, future programs, strategic planning, sales, marketing, engineering, and sustainability.

"We are thrilled to have Dean join our team," said Rollie Vincent, RVA President. "It is rare to find someone who has his many and diverse skill sets. He is a recognized industry guru with expertise forged in the real world of civil aero-engine development and product strategy. His deep expertise and broad-based experiences are superb complements to what we do – he will be especially instrumental as we broaden our capabilities and focus on the nascent field of aviation sustainability.”

Dr. Roberts is the chair of the Business Aviation Subcommittee of the U.S. Transportation Research Board (TRB), where he leads 10-year market consensus forecasts and surveys with fellow industry experts. He has been an active contributor to the General Aviation Manufacturers Association (GAMA) Environment Committee and provided market forecast guidance to support the industry’s Business Aviation Commitment on Climate Change (BACCC). With a Ph.D. from Cranfield University in England, Dean is a published author and recognized expert on barriers to entry in the civil aircraft industry. He served for 6 years as an adjunct lecturer at the University of Virginia and is a member of the industry advisory board of Purdue University’s School of Aviation & Transportation Technology.
