Trimec Aviation (Trimec), a certified FAA Part 145 Repair Station and authorized Gogo Business Aviation (NASDAQ: GOGO) dealer announced it is developing a Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) in response to strong demand for Gogo Galileo HDX for the Gulfstream G200.
Gogo Galileo is the latest innovation from Gogo , that will provide operators worldwide with global, high-speed inflight internet. It will leverage Eutelsat OneWeb’s enterprise-grade Low-Earth-Orbit (LEO) satellite network, designed for mobility to deliver low variability and consistent performance across all routes globally.
Trimec continues to build on its avionics STC development expertise with this latest Gogo Galileo HDX program for the G200, which involves a fleet base of more than 230 in operation today.
John Holland, General Manager for Trimec Aviation, said, “We are excited to work with Gogo on the new Gogo Galileo HDX STC to provide our G200 customers with an easy upgrade option to the latest satellite connectivity technology. I look forward to talking with many G200 operators at NBAA-BACE 2024 (Booth #3225) to answer any questions they may have and share details about the current Gogo rebates.”
With its compact size, the HDX delivers fast, low-latency performance across the full breadth of business aviation aircraft worldwide, from light jets and turboprops to the largest business jets.
For a limited time, current Gogo customers operating a legacy air-to-ground system (ATG 1000, 2000, 4000, 5000) can qualify for a special promotional rebate of $25,000 when installing AVANCE SCS and HDX.
The Trimec Aviation team will be available at the National Business Aviation Association Business Aviation Conference and Exhibition (NBAA-BACE 2024) in Las Vegas from Oct. 22-24, Booth #3225. Gogo will also have in-person demos of the Gogo Galileo service available at the static display at KHND airport, booth AD 325.
