At the 2025 Aircraft Interiors Expo (AIX) in Hamburg, RECARO Aircraft Seating (RECARO) and LATAM Airlines Group (LATAM) prepare for the upcoming entry into service of their retrofit B787-8 aircraft featuring the R7 long-haul business class seat.
The R7 offers an increased shell height and suite door. The seats have a custom table design and antimicrobial faux leather dress covers made from recycled materials. The 24-shipset retrofit for their B787-8 and B787-9 includes the incorporation of the long-haul R7 business class seat.
