According to the study, 64 drone bases in the U.S. are being used as remote cockpits to control the robotic aircraft overseas. These drone bases include 12 bases housing the more advanced Predator and Reaper unmanned aerial vehicles. The drones have made a significant contribution to the fighting capability of operational war forces.
