Uzbekistan Airways to Sell Older Aircrafts

Uzbekistan Airways sells four Boeing aircraft as part of the project for further unification and renewal of the aircraft fleet, Trend reports referring to Uzbekistan Airways.

The aircrafts on sale are Boeing 757-200 UK-75701 (1999) - $12,030,000, Boeing 757-200 UK-75702 (1999) - $12,408,000, Boeing 767- 3 CBER UK-67007 (2003) - $21,414,000, Boeing 767-3 CBER UK-67008 (2004) - $22,362,000.

It is reported that Uzbekistan Airways will buy another Dreamliner in March for $141.7 million. According to Boeing, the plane itself costs $248.3 million.

Recently was reported, that starting from April of this year, Uzbekistan Airways will start operating regular flights to Munich.

Today, the airline's aircrafts regularly fly to more than 60 destinations in Europe, Asia and US and perform charter flights to all continents of the world. Only in the past two years, new directions have been opened to Mumbai, Vladivostok, Jakarta and Tbilisi, and regular flights to Jeddah were launched.

For its achievements in the field of flight safety, the airline was awarded diplomas and certificates of honor of the International Aviation Safety Fund, World Security Fund and Boeing Company.

The airline also entered the rating of the most successful airlines in the world on the quality of services provided by the audit of the rating agency SkyTrax (2013).

Since 2014, the airline is a member of the International Air Transport Association (IATA) and a member of the Association of Independent Tour Operators in the UK (AITO). As reported, flight attendants of Uzbek airline twice confirmed their professionalism at the international forum "SkyService", winning in 2018 and 2019.
