Southwest Increases FNT Service

July 7, 2016

Southwest Airlines is increasing their Florida flying from Flint this winter.  In addition to their current daily flights to Chicago-Midway and Saturday-only flight to Orlando (MCO), they are adding a Sunday flight to Orlando, as well as Saturday-only nonstop flights to Ft. Myers (RSW) and Tampa (TPA). The increased flying will begin on Jan. 7, and tickets are on sale now.

Airport Director Craig Williams said, “The demand just keeps growing for great nonstop service to Florida from our region.  It is popular year-round, and especially in the winter.  We couldn’t be happier to see Southwest Airlines adding to their Flint portfolio. These flights are a fantastic compliment to the service they already provide our facility.”
